Here is a flashback to a few shoots with Lucy Tobey from 2021. These “x-ray” projections turned out really well! The secret is to augment the projected image with LED lights. The projector provides the skeleton, while the blue and red LED lights fill in the left and right side of her body, which would otherwise blend in with the black background.
We attempted to adhere string to her back for these next two. It “soft of” worked but the spirt gum adhesive kept falling off so the strings are looser than I hoped. I’m open to trying this again but I think it needs a lot more drying time before attaching the strings!
